It was a little cloudy here in Tulsa, but we had a pretty good showing of the lunar eclipse tonight. Here are a few photos I took of it.

Great photos! My camera is no where as good as yours. I got a blurry orange circle instead. :)

Thanks! I used a tripod and remote shutter release because it was a long exposure. It is really hard to get good photos of the moon!

thank you for the great pictures. We were totally clouded over so we did not get to see it. Very disappointed.

Great photos, thanks so much.

Thanks for sharing. We could only see a bright whitish spot through the cloud cover here in Georgia.

We had the huge cloud cover too. It was very disappointing not to be able to see it. I really appreciate everyone sharing their pics.

Thanks for the pics. We were cloud covered here. Could not even see where the moon may have been

lynnie 09-28-2015 08:27 AM

Thank you, it was too foggy here to see anything

Thank you for your photos Jeanne. It's the long exposure makes it spectacular.

Our church service was held outside for worship so we could watch the moon rise. Here is an iPhone shot as it was coming up.

That's the best pictures ever!!

Jingle 09-28-2015 11:39 AM

Your pictures are great.
I didn't catch the time it was to occur. I did see the bright moon after the blood and eclipse. It was extremely bright. I won't be here in 33 years when we are to have another Super moon.

Great photos. I didn't even try to see it, we were so overcast I couldn't have been able to tell the difference between the eclipse and the cloud cover

Thanks for the photos. We live in Dallas and too much light from lights.LOL. I'll keep these.

you are so blessed ! It was just too cloudy here in North Florida to even see the moon.Didn't happen here!

fivepaws 09-29-2015 05:35 AM

I was so looking forward to seeing this but where I am, near D.C. it was totally clouded over. So disappointed. Afraid I won't make it to the next one. Oh, well there are many more miracles to see.

Yooper32 09-29-2015 06:51 AM

I was tired, forgot about the eclipse, and went to bed. Now, I choose to think that it was too cloudy to see the moon. Got to be some excuse for such forgetfulness.

Thanks for the photos, unfortunately I fell asleep on my chair in front of the TV so I missed it.
