As you can see our morning isn't quite so colorful!

beachlady 02-10-2010 05:49 AM

Beautiful sunrise.

If you painted that people would wonder what drug you took.. it is so pretty its not real. I love waking up to something like that it can make your entire day. Thank you for sharing!

Not sure where you're from NorBanaquilts, but your mornings look like mine.

Norbanaquilts....our ground looks like yours too but our sunrise is fabulous. I'm lost in Arkansas too!!!!

mamaw 02-10-2010 08:29 PM

Oh, how pretty!! God certainly has a way of letting us appreciate his works.

Let's hope that morning sunrise turns into a snow melting afternoon sun! After four days out, I'm ready to go back to school! We are already tacking on 6 days to the end of the year. Pretty soon we'll be planning a fireworks display if this keeps up! Enjoy the view.

The second pic would make a lovely quilt!!!!!

Our awesome sunsets are a norm. Hardly ever see a firey sunrise. I remember a poem that goes something like this:

Red sky at night, sailor’s delight.
Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning.

blahel 02-11-2010 03:23 PM

truly worth getting up for!

SUSAN 02-12-2010 08:16 AM

RED SKIES AT NIGHT, SAILORS DELIGHT.
RED SKIES AT MORNING, SAILORS TAKE WARNING!!
I live in North Little Rock Ar and we got 8 inches of snow at our place in town. Snow shut down the city!!

kacy 49 02-12-2010 06:27 PM

Oh how beautiful. We woke up to 9 in of snow. I will be so glad when spring gets here although this snow was really pretty. Loved watching it.

Beautiful! Our Minnesota sunrises are lovely, too...when we can see them instead of the fog we had the last couple of mornings!
