Still not working!!

Carol, see the row of boxes above where you type your reply? Some people cannot see the text labels on the boxes. Do you see the word "font" on one, and "size" on another? The box right next to the one that says size will adjust your text color. Click on the little diamond on that box and left click a color you want to use then start typing.
