I saw this on the news this morning and found the link to the video and the article about it... I do not know if they were able to catch the Dog or not... but they were told be cautious since the dog is a Pit Bull. I hope they get this dog off the Expressway, the Eisenhower Expressway is also known as Route 290. They are doing construction in the area that the dog is located. Last I heard the pup was headed to Proviso West High School.

THEY GOT HIM!!! They are taking him to an Animal Hospital. Thank God! They said that he was so tired out that they were able to just walk up to him and grab him! Update on his condition will hopefully come up by 9am or at least at the 5pm News.

Dog is at the Vets now....is a 3-5 year old Pitbull...not neutered...and he is on IV's and oxygen. He was not hit by any cars, although it was very close...no ID tags...if not claimed by owner will be going to a shelter.

They named him Ike! I wish we didn't have Eden or the other pets (I just refered to my niece as a pet.. oops!) I'd take him! He is so adorable!

Poor puppy :(
|
Poor baby. Why don't people take care of their animals.
|
I'm not sure, but the vet is calling him Ike since he was roaming the Eisenhower Expressway. He is a cutie!
|
Aw, poor dog! Glad he is safe now!
|
makes me SO mad that people don't look after their pets, and if it's been on the news the owners have no excuse at all..

I know!
this one guy lost his dog last week on Saturday, and has been looking for him since. And when they first found the dog the day before this happened, he was hoping that it was his dog. |
