this morning I downloaded weatherbug.com then when I do a search it would default to ask.com and not my normal bing.com. I went in and changed my internet options and deleted ask.com and now it only shows bing.com, however now when I type in a search in the task bar it changes over to ask.com but doesn't do the search. How can I fix this?

Was there a spot on the weatherbug install about including ask.com as your home page. Uninstall weatherbug and reinstall and watch the screens. there should be a box to check so it doesn't add anything else. Hope this helps.

it did ask if I wanted to make ask.com as my home page and I clicked no. My homepage staid the same but my search is defaulting to ask.com. I will try to find uninstall weatherbug

ok, uninstalled weatherbug however it still is going to ask.com when I search, it looks like my computer is preventing ask.com complete the search. the icon is still popping up after I click enter

Are you talking about the mini search bar at the top of the browser window?

What browser are you using?

You may need to go into your toll bar settings and delete ask.com.
