Computer pattern problems

I have been trying to print out instructions for various quilts but when I try to print them they either won't print or they want to print 20-30 pages either way I don't get patterns. Is it me, the computer or the website?:(

I'm not sure but have you checked your printer? Sometimes mine has a mind of it's own. Hope you can get the help you need from others.

If you have an option called "print preview"......try to select that. Then there should pop up some other options like print page 1 only. Try that and see what it shows. Then, if it looks okay, select the option to print pages 1-10 or whateer you want to print. I usually do Print Preview before printing anything any more.......I've printed 60 pages of nothing too!

Go to File - Print - Print Preview - or go to File - Print - and then a screen comes up where you can select "pages to print" or "current page".

Good luck!

yes, i preview to see how many pages and then may only print page 2 through 11. the rest isn't worth my ink.
also make sure it wants to print portrait and not landscape. i did that the other day. grrrrr.

I can tell my printer to print just what I want it to print, i.e. current page and/or specific pages. I do find that if I use the print option in word, it will print all pages. I click on the Office circle on my document and it opens a drop down where I can click on print to open my printer options.

You might try printing to a PDF file and then open using Adobe. Designate which pages to print.

You can also select to print in "draft" mode which saves ink.
