Computer program question

Does anyone know of a program that will take a pdf file and let you alter it? Subject: Accuquilt die compatibility chart ob their site. I would like to be able to keep the list of dies, but change the other columns to be what I need them as.....HAVE, location,.....planning to have shelves-A,B,C,.....according to size. Daughter said she thought there was a way to do it, but not sure..anyone know. I know I could create my own list in excel, but I thought I could just copy theirs and tweek it....just a thought...just trying to organize...

Lots of programs, some free, will do this. Adobe Acrobat, although expensive, is the original PDF editor.

I Googled "PDF editor" and found tons of programs, some of which are free. Ableword seems to get reasonable reviews:

However, I don't think it converts to Excel format; it would be Word format. If you want a conversion to Excel format, this one might do:

What dunster said. But to add on to Prism99's comments re Word and Excel - if one of the others only converts to Word you could then do you Word file in a 'table' within Word and save. After that, open that table format in Excel and you get your columns and are able to sort, etc.

I don't know how large of a file text this would be but to put it into a spreadsheet program would probably be very useful.

I am not sure if there is still a need, but I have access to tons of enterprise class applications and can convert the information for you if you would like.

If you PM me, and then send me the pdf, I can convert to word...perhaps excel...depends on the formatting.....Diana

Hi all, I found the chart in question and went ahead and converted it.

Page 1 and Page 2 on the Excel sheet are from the original PDF, Page 3 is an alternate of Page 2 that will allow sorting/filtering without losing die types.
