I think you have to have Micorsoft Office to download Powerpoint slide shows don't you? It seems like I couldn't download them from emails until I had bought the program...

I had trouble initially too. I will assume that you have power point installed in your computer. I also have Norton for security. What I do when I click on the attachment, is to select Save File. Don't worry, you don't need to complete the save. Norton then checks for virues and the Download box remains open. I click on the file again and it immediately opens with no problem. I hope this is clear.

If you don't have Powerpoint, you can download a PowerPoint viewer at the Microsoft office website.

The viewer allows the presentation to be seen, but not altered. Some advanced features, like embedded files and such, may not be supported, but I doubt if you would need that capability.

Windows 7 is an operating system. It will only support the software that is on it. If you don't have an Office suite with PowerPoint (or some other program that will open PowerPoint files), you can ask the PowerPoint show's creator to "Pack 'n' Send" it so it can be seen without a viewer or the program. I should warn you ahead of time, this creates a huge file size!

Thank you for the link to the viewer Moonpi :D:D:D
I will pass this on to those without Microsoft Office!!!
