This is an actual consumer WARNING! I purchased this product from QVC. It will not only smoke you out of the house, but will MELT in your oven. I cut it to fit the bottom of my oven. While in TX last week, youngest son baked something and called to say the liner was smoking/melting in the oven...thought perhaps HE had done something wrong. Well tonight I went to bake something and guess what...before the oven even hit 325 I saw the smoke..I opened the oven door and poof, the liner was on fire!

THe box has NO information on it saying who actually makes it, what it is made out of, NOTHING..just direction on cutting it and putting into the oven or baking pans!

I have written to QVC about this item. Then I went and read the reviews..this product is BAD and should be pulled from the market!

Buyer beware!

Thanks for the warning. I was taught never to put anything at the bottom of the oven anyway - not even foil. But I'll make sure to avoid purchasing it for other uses!

Thanks for the heads up Jacquie. I don't use oven liners but I'm sure that some on here do. Please be careful and buyers beware. patti

YUCK! Thanks for the warning.

the thing about this product, is that it is not just an oven liner, you can line your backing pans with, it is great for a painting/hot glue surface, etc..nothing is supposed to stick to it either!

I have a liner in my oven for 4 years and NO problems..I just loved it..Wish I still had that one!

I have a silicone liner for the cookie sheet. Works there OK

Thank goodness the house didn't't burn down and everyone is fine.
