Using Internet Explorer 7, and going to http://www.wildhavensoap.com/ (you didn't give the actual link), I'm getting an error message, "The website cannot display this page."

I highly recommend the company that hosts my website for me. PM me if you are interested. I think I pay $20/year. When I first set it up a few years ago I had problems converting the web address from the Google site where I set it up to a different URL and she was EXCELLENT in helping me. I can't recommend her highly enough!

when you either get a pop up or think that something just occured, the best thing to do is <control, alt ,delete>, start the task manager, go to applications, find whats running on the list, right click it, choose go to process, then end process. I found out the hard way when I got a virus that just getting out of internet explorer or clicking off of something doesn't do much of anything. After those are done, then run your scans to find the little culprit.

Thank you Marsye - that gave me some interesting info. At the top of that page it said: This is Google's cache of http://wildhavensoap.com/. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on Mar 19, 2010 18:39:19 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime. Learn more
So that may have been the last date my site was active - it's been down 12 days now....

I dread trying to reconstruct my site.... I need to start looking - I did print off hard copies of each page just in case I ever needed to set it up again. Just have to find which "safe" spot I put them in.... :? And I know I had to do something with my domain name - setting it up so she was the host - I sure hope I can change that easily myself.

I do have a good family friend that I should've gone with initially. (He does this professionally and has gotten a lot of medical accts to set up - so I know I can trust his security) I was just trying to save $$ and this woman offered me a good deal. Or so I thought. There have been too many frustrations. Thanks so much for checking and for all your offers for help!

Using the link Marsye provided, I get to a webshot of the home page. You are unable to click any of your products and get into the page.

It still does not work by just typing in your web addy.

I'm amazed - I pm'd her through the forum I met her on and she just got back to me. She said she hasn't been hacked and her other hosted websites are up and running. I'm so confused. When I went to her blog (which wasn't there) why did I get that ugly pop up? Anyway, at least she said she'd check into it. At other times it would take weeks to hear from her, so this is good!

I still think that for a business site you need someone more dependable and capable of keeping your site secure.
