Crafty class-bra making

Has anyone taken this class and were you satisfied with the information?

No I haven't but will be watching to see if anyone has taken it. I would love to know how good the class is, since I can never find bras that fit!

It looks like it has some really good reviews. Don't forget, they will refund your money if you don't like the class.

Good point. I am hoping to get more responses.

I have taken the class and she really seems to cover everything and puts you through the paces. I was tired of buying bras that "sort of " fit. She shows you how to make changes so that the bra will really fit decent. I bought 2 of her patterns and am very happy with the patterns, directions and class.

I took Beverly's bra making class WAY back in the day, 1997 She was just starting out then. Her shop is now closer to my house, but she doesn't offer a refresher course so I bought the class as a Christmas gift to myself.

I bought a new pattern several years later and gained weight afterward, I called the shop and the ladies working there couldn't help me. So I made a trip to the store when I knew Beverly would be there. She took me to the back of the store did a fitting and then told me what size to make and the proper pattern to buy.

Wearing a bra that actually fit is SO worth it.

When I get my sewing table a little less cluttered I need to watch the class and sew the bra I have had cut out for months.

Interesting, I never thought about making my own bra.

When I find a great fitting bra I really like and it fits great I buy all they have in my size. They are always discontinuing bras styles. I have three brands that make one style I will wear. I have enough stored to last me until I droop more. LOL

that is one of the things i absolutely hate to shop for. May be a good idea.

For those of you that sew your own bra, it is labor intensive to do?

Would be frustrating to do all the work and not have it fit.
