kwhite 06-28-2011 07:36 AM

Beautiful. Tell your son the stain will be unhealthy for the child. Little white lie.

Gerbie 06-28-2011 08:27 AM

What a beautiful crib. DH did an outstanding job on that. What art work. I love the color it is now. But then I love the natural color in wood. I have stripped many pieces and then use just Tung Oil to seal it and it always turns out so good.I think dark would distract from it's beauty. What a craftsman you have there. Has he made you a sewing table or cabinet? Does he do this as a hobby or is this his line of work. Beautiful !!!! What talent.

Victoria L 06-28-2011 08:28 AM

DGF to be is a very accomplished woodworker and has just made the first heiloom crub for the family. I agree with not staining it dark because you would loose the beautiful wood graining. KUDOS to you DGF to be.

BettyGee 06-28-2011 04:28 PM
