Has anyone been on a cruise for quilters? I think it would be so much fun if we could get a group to set up a cruise. Let me hear from you....

I love reading her weekly book chapters. Never been on a cruise - would love to go on one.

Tealady thank you for the link but unfortunetly I have made arrangements to go to Rose Bowl Parade at that time. But if anyone would like we could set up another cruise at a later date.

I would love to go on an Alaskan cruise. But, no money. So I will just quilt at home.

I have been lucky enough to go on 2 cruises to Alaska. Obviously the trip and experience of a lifetime. As much as I enjoy quilting, the very last thing I would want to do is to be inside quilting and possibly missing all the gorgeousness of the scenery and the many outside activities on deck. There are, however, some nice quilt shops in the ports of call.

you bring up a VERY good point...if you are stuck in a room sewing all day/night, how much of the scenic experience are you missing??

and I know that with the AK cruises, you have to take the scenery when you can get it, cuz the weather ruins a lot of those trips!

maybe we need to think about a cruise in open waters, with NO scenery to miss..hehehe
