Hi Guys,

As I was cutting my fabric this evening, DH comes in and starts chatting... well I had to try to listen and I lost concentration and cut two squares 1/2" too small. Of course, I didn't have any extra fabric to make new squares as the fabric was from a BOTM so...........!!!!!

Tomorrow I have to go shopping for fabric and it is all DH's fault (so he can't say a thing when I come home with a bag full)!

I am right.... aren't I?

Hugs

Caroline

lol...What can he say, huh? Bad Boy!

I checked the rulebook and you are correct - a shopping trip to replace the mis-cut fabric is definitely in order and since there is also a penalty for distracting you, you would be justified to come home with alittle something extra for your stash.

MadQuilter 05-10-2010 04:39 PM

Absolutely! U R RIGHT!

MNQuilter 05-10-2010 04:44 PM

I'm so sorry that ya have to go shopping for fabric. Be sure & get a few pieces for your trouble of having to go when you were not planning on it. :D And maybe a piece or two just in case you might get interrupted again. While the getting is good, might as well get a few yds or pieces just because he caused a disturbance in your project. :D

BECAUSE it is his fault, he should pick up the check for your excursion!

Boston1954 05-12-2010 01:14 PM

Not only should you spend at least $80.00, but HE should cook supper tonight.
