Cutest pine cone ornament

Found the cutest pine cone ornament to make on You Tube for our guild Christmas ornament exchange. They loved it. Just be sure to keep away from little kids or pets who chew as each ornament has about 100 sequin pins ! Enjoy and Merry Christmas.

I want to try one of these. The only change I might make is, I would cover the other end of the egg in the same manner as the other end, before adding the triangles. That way there is no empty spot at the top to try to cover.

I made a couple of these and that's a good point - cover both ends before you start and then you don't have to worry about bald spots. I had a terrible time locating "findings" for the top. I wound up buying a rope of pine garland for the greenery and a box of red jingle bells for the color.

That is gorgeous! Love your fabric choice! Thanks so much for including the link to youtube.

I made 4 of them, all different fabrics...I did cover both ends before starting, it did help. I have made many of the ball ornaments and I liked the way the ends were done, so it kinda gave me the idea to cover the ends of the pinecone. I enjoy sitting and watching tv in the evening and working on these..
