Cutting fabric for totes question

Hello,

I am doing a mini tote and want to know if you cut out the fabric with a rotary cutter, scissors, or a mix of both? It does not come with a paper pattern just the dimensions to cut. Thanks!

I used a rotary cutter to cut mine.

I just do those grocery bags and I use a rotary cutter.

I too, use a rotary cutter, it gives me a straight line, and is more accurate.
Please show us what you do. by doing it this way, there's no waste between them if doing more than one.

I use a rotary cutter also and often make the exterior all in one piece...however I never use a pattern so don't go by me...just follow your pattern directions. I learned by using bits and pieces of different patterns but seemed to always change everything up so now I just do my own thing. I love making totes ....takes so much less time to get to completion than quilts...LOL.

I love my 16 x 16 ruler for making totes, etc. I trust that you are proficient in using a rotary cutting and rulers. I would never make a paper pattern. Why? I have made tons of different purses and totes, btw.
