Daddy pillowcases
 

Our son is deployed to Afghanistan, his wife Christy saw the daddy pillows on line. She asked me to make pillow cases for Gavin and Julia, so daddy would be there with them every night while gone. When they saw them they each laid right next to him with a smile and a hug. Christy and I also felt Andy will need a hug from his kids so we made one for him with his beautiful children. Asking for prayers for this wonderful family and all deployed soldiers and their families. Thanks.

What a lovely idea.....Yes...and my thoughts are with all who are serving their countries (and their loved ones)...seems there is more need for their service now, than ever....may they all come home safe and sound.

When my sister's wife went into the hospital with leukemia, i had the boy color a pillowcase for her. She had it with her when she died. I felt it was important to the boys to do that.

Just to let you know, I teared up, also I pray every night for all our service men & all of their families! I pray to keep them all safe, & to give each and every one who has a service person, for the Lord to keep them safe, & to give them faith & strength every day to carry them threw till all are home safe!
