Well, it is not here. Yesterday had ice, today it has been snowing. Yucky weather!

Just finished the shoveling, moving the van for the snow emergency, shoveling the driveway. 13" of snow since yesterday and 1-3 more today. It is still snowing. It is also sneeting a bit - snow/sleet, puts a crust on the snow. It is quite windy also. That's it! I am done!

We have had 8 snow emergencies this winter. I am sure it is a record.

Husband is treating us to Chinese take out for dinner. I can handle that just fine. Edie

No sign of the snow stopping. Driveway cleared. I'm still going to work....
Could someone post pics of daffodils? We in MN don't remember what they look like....we only know one season WINTER!!!!! : )

the other season we have here--road repair!

I believe that is also known as road repair/potholes!!!!! Boy are we loaded with them in St. Paul. We have a pothole reprieve right now until the salt melts the snow in the holes.

Got the snowplow windrow shoveled out from our carriage walk, and it is snowing like the devil right now! Oh well, my next door neighbor called and invited me over for show and tell.....she is knitting a sweater and I am going toshow her a recipe for making a quilt out of a jelly roll. Yah, I know, kinda squishy!!!!!! Brain Freeze!!!!! Edie

i hear you--"minnesota: 9 months of winter, three months of bad skiing". hubby was out snowblowing this a.m., and there were at least 10 inches in the shelter of the driveway. i think there was more out in the back yard. (we're just north of st. paul, not as far as forest lake)

at least the roof stopped leaking, but only because the lake above the ice dam on the roof froze over again...

Haha snowed today!

Usually mine in northern Ohio are up 3-4" by this time. During the all too brief melting period we had last week, I saw mine just peeking up. This evening, we're in a whiteout so no more peeks of crocus, daffodils, Lenten Roses for weeks yet!

We were 58 yesterday and all 4 feet of snow was gone,but it was a very short reprieve we got 4inches of ice and 6 more in.of snow and its still coming down and its going to turn back to frzen rain at the rate we're going I will be turning the dining room into my garden
