Dang Fleece

Ok, it was really operator error. I sewed fleece thinking the wrong side was the right side. I'm not the first person to do that am I?

Do you use your walking foot to sew fleece?

I piece quilts but this was a doll outfit for my daughter.

You paid for both sides, so use the one you like. :)

I don't think it matters which side you use as long as you are happy with it!

I always use the side I think looks best. I have never used a walking foot on it but now that you have brought it to my attention I think I will try it, sounds like it might work very well.

I just to make sure I use the same side throughout. I'm trying to remember which is which but if you pull gently on the cross grain it will curl ... I think to the right side? I'd have to test it out for sure but it certainly helps to be sure you're using the same side consistently.

:DDang, there's a wrong side?

KwiltyKahy 12-07-2012 12:13 PM

If you like it and use the same side throughout, it shouldn't matter.

No one will know but you. I use a lot of fleece for double layer fleece mitts and hats and sometimes the print is a little softer or muted on the wrong side. Just make sure that you use all the same side and have the stretch going across not up and down.

There's a wrong side?!!!!! LOL! no worries been there unless there's a design- I'm backwards LOL! Yes I use a walking foot with the fleece and works nicely!

I often pin the pattern to one side or tother to keep the seams from going backwards. Doesn't matter which.
