Dangerous border crossing at Niagara Falls!

Well, it sure looks dangerous, as featured in Apple's new iOS 6 Maps.
It's a bridge! It's a roller coaster! Oh no, the cliffs are melting into the gorge! |
oh come on, is that real? i've had internet maps tell me to make U turns when they are not necessary but i don't think I want to travel that road!!
|
I think they still havee a few bugs to work out!

And this Colorado River bridge is even worse.
I'm sure they had fun developing the 3-D map technology but... yeah, it isn't quite there yet. |
few bugs? they are being eaten alive with them!!!
|
Those pictures are hilarious! Kinda reminds me of the time when the GPS told me to take a right; I did, and ended up on a ferry boat!!! not intended, but fun anyway! Wow!
|
Hmmm it appears they have done some roadwork since the last time I was at Niagara Falls, cuz I sure don't remember that bridge.

I downloaded the update to my iPad and I'm having the same probs w/my maps. The Google maps app was 'de bomb'! Apple says "The more you use it, the better it will get". DUH! People can't get to where they're going in the meantime. Hope they fix it SOON.
|
I saw on ET last night that they are working on a fix. Apple is the brunt of a lot of jokes right now so I'm sure they're working frantically. I just downloaded the iOS 6 on my iPad, but haven't had a chance to check out the maps. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my iPad!

This must be the kind of road that stretches when wet! I think I'll stay off of it, just like I won't wear that kind of fabric!!!
Happy quilting, Susan |
