What is a virtual section?

A virtual section is a place where you can find all the threads pertaining to one subject. I have a Miniatures VS and a Rhonda's Workshop and Clases VS there are also sections for the Jane Stickle threads The Round Robin threads and more.

You can click on Home and scroll towards the bottom. You will see a User Defined Sections link click on that and you will be in the Virtual Section with a list of all the sections.

Someone contacted me about a virtual section for vintage machines. It should be created shortly.

As for a section for "all" machines, we can do that too. But someone needs to manage it.

Talking about virtual sections....is there a way to change a name of a virtual section once it has been created?
Patrice created the VS for the bargello tutorial/sew along that I'm doing. I think it would be nice if all messages regarding bargello quilts could be added there.

What's the new title and description you would like? I'll rename it.

I guess just Bargello Quilts , with a description somewhat like the ones for OBW or Irish Chain sections, so that others will know then can add their bargello pictures, questions, etc. there.

Since I suggested it, if no one else wants to do it, I'll take on the responsibility for it...just tell me what I need to do!
