After reading about peoples emergency kits for disaster survival, I got to thinking about December 21, 2012, Does anyone here feel anxity about that date? If so how are yu handleing it? I get so worried about my son, where he'll be, my husband, where he'll be and will happen. The anxiety builds and oh my what will i do on Dec. 20? Someone please tell me i'M not alone in this delima, and let me know how you are dealing with this. thanks.

Not worried at all. You need to clam down and worry about the things you can actually do something about. Think about how you will feel when that date gets here and passes and it is just another day that you are not quite ready for Christmas. If you beleive in God then just ask for peace in your heart and you will be fine.

according to the sources that be, the Myan calendar and such the world will come to an end. Maybe bombing in the mddle east, a great cataclysmic destruction of earth

thank you for your advice, but i'm still upset abut that date. I watch alot of the nat geog shows and science shows and they all talk about it.

Oh I see now. I'm not worried about that at all. I'm going to thoroughly enjoy life until I die and if it happens to be on that date for whatever the reason, so be it.

It probably will be just another day, so like Kwhite says, if you belive in God, ask Him for peace in your heart and go on.

They make their ratings on that stuff. Think about Orson Wells with the War of the Worlds radio show. People lost their lives that night over a hoax. No one, and I mean NO ONE knows when and if the world will end. Live your life as if today were your last. Be the person you would love to be and let the future take care of itself.
