I got a password into both Ancestry and familysearch (for obvious reasons) I will look anything up for you. Geneology is another one of my hobbies. I'll send you a PM

You should try Facebook (to see if she has a page). There are also groups on Facebook, such as "Search Squad" which helps to find people. There are a lot of paid data bases ("Been Verified" is one that I can think of) that the search folks use. Also try Ancestry.com to see if she has a tree or appears on someone else's. You can often times track from there. Did you try "Whitepages.com" to see if there is actually a telephone listing? Sometimes the local library in the town you are searching in has city directories, phone books, etc. If it is a small town, sometimes calling town hall can get you a lead. (Tax records are public).
Let me know if you need anymore help. Good luck!

When she said "no social media" and didn't want any, I took that to mean Facebook.

It has always been my understanding that any genealogical site will not post information about a living person. It is far easier to find information on the dead than the living. As far as using Ancestry.com, but not having a subscription, the public library should have a basic subscription that can be accessed from home using your library card. The reference librarian can be an invaluable resource.

Do you have The Salvation Army in your area. Here in the UK they have found many lost relatives.

I usually use the white pages with a great deal of success.

I would Ike to offer to check Facebook for her name for you, if you want to PM me her info. Good luck dear. I would also try searching sites that you find by going to Dogpile and entering " lost family members". Others on here who have social media accounts might be willing to do the same. Good luck dear.

I know you don't want any social media accounts, but Facebook really is one of the best ways to find her. Do you know anyone with an account that would let you use it to do a search?

Spokeo is a good site for that. You have to pay for super detailed information, but it gives a surprising amount of data for free.

Go to switchboard.com. Choose find a person, type in name and her town and state. I've often found "lost" friends that way.

If you know her high school and maybe graduation year, check classmates.com.

I have found so many people through FAcebook. Missing children have been found through FAcebook. It isn't hard and it's free to join. If you relatives on Facebook as for their help also. Looks like you already have quite a bit. Good luck in your find and I hope you are warmly welcomed in your search.
