I got a password into both Ancestry and familysearch (for obvious reasons) I will look anything up for you. Geneology is another one of my hobbies. I'll send you a PM

When she said "no social media" and didn't want any, I took that to mean Facebook.

It has always been my understanding that any genealogical site will not post information about a living person. It is far easier to find information on the dead than the living. As far as using Ancestry.com, but not having a subscription, the public library should have a basic subscription that can be accessed from home using your library card. The reference librarian can be an invaluable resource.

Do you have The Salvation Army in your area. Here in the UK they have found many lost relatives.

I usually use the white pages with a great deal of success.

I would Ike to offer to check Facebook for her name for you, if you want to PM me her info. Good luck dear. I know you don't want any social media accounts, but Facebook really is one of the best ways to find her. Do you know anyone with an account that would let you use it to do a search?

Spokeo is a good site for that. You have to pay for super detailed information, but it gives a surprising amount of data for free.

Go to switchboard.com. Choose find a person, type in name and her town and state. I've often found "lost" friends that way.

If you know her high school and maybe graduation year, check classmates.com.

I have found so many people through FAcebook. Missing children have been found through FAcebook. It isn't hard and it's free to join. If you relatives on Facebook as for their help also.
