I would love some quiet.
Hubby is not so bad, but those kids of mine... they sort of ruin the serene atmosphere I often long for. I guess that is what I get for having 2 boys 17 months apart. ;) |
Lucky you, every time my hubby has told me he is going to Boston to visit his sisters for a long weekend he comes back home the next day. It drives me nuts because I'll have all these plans and then he comes strolling in the door. I love him but a few days to myself would be terrific. I could sew and quilt and quilt and sew and maybe spend a few seconds doing housework and then get back to quilting. I wouldn't turn the TV on once the whole weekend, no Law & Order reruns.

If they only realized how good a "boys weekend" is for the woman of the house.....they probably wouldn't enjoy it so much hee, hee.

no cooking, no cleaning, just quilting. Lucky you. I have family coming...6 kids..3-16 yrs, 2 moms and gramma and grampa all for great gramma's birthday. Boy is she going to be surprised.

Love the days when hubby is away.. I can clean house and turn up the music and stay up all night quilting!!!!
Enjoy your free time!!!! |
Call up a quilting friend and go shopping!! Eat out, and chill without having to get up and "assist" your dh all the time. Have fun!!!
