Just wanted everyone to know that I'd gotten a phone message from Dick Dupuis (RDupuis on the board) and he is improving but still recuperating. He wanted to thank everyone for the cards he has received and also the fabrics he's gotten to make a Grandmother's Flower Garden. At the time of his message he had made 20 (of the planned 60) flowers. He has been released from the physical therapy center and is now staying with relatives with plans to go to his daughter's house in St. Louis this coming weekend to continue recuperation. While I don't have any details at this time, his message was very positive and upbeat. I hope to have more information soon and will pass it along to the board.
He said be sure to thank the QB members for all the cards and fabric squares and that he sends his love to all. Before leaving the PT center he had pictures taken of all his cards (he had them hung across a wall in his room) and he will post the pictures when he again has computer access.
