Just take the seeds and membrane out if all you want is flavor. You don't find hot italian sausage HOT?

When I make lasagna, I use the italian sausage and ground beef to make meat balls then slice for the lasagna. Great flavor.

Sure sounds better than the sloppy joes and mac and cheese that my DH cooked tonight.

You must be blessed with cool weather! We still have 80's and last week 90's... UGH I am so ready for cool weather food!!

tuna, noodles, cheese.... some use a rue and some add peas... i just love it...

I make that! But with cream of mushroom soup insead of rue. :) YUMMERS

DH didn't feel good tonight so we had cottage cheese, chicken salad and fresh fruit for supper tonight. No cooking done here.

Veggie beef soup from the freezer. We are both fighting miserable sinus infections :(!

LOL thats a hilarious saying...Flop a lip over....I make a mean, mean, mexican cornbread...lots of jalapenos, corn and cheese...in a iron skillet...real crispy on all edges

It's 42 degrees tonight in Minnesota! Hot dishes, soups, chili...here comes winter!

I'm another poster ready for Fall.Hot weather go away.Gonna be a high of 60* today.....so I made a pot of bean soup.Can't wait to have soup on the menu every wk.

I throw three sliced Polish sausages in my spaghetti. Really good! Edie

chicken veggie and noodles is in the crockpot cooking right now for dinner .. well not the noodles !LOL I'll add those when I get home from work!! DH loves Chicken Veggie so I make that then he can eat (we work separate shifts)then when I come home from work I can add my noodles.. Hmm .. sourdough bread sounds good with it, toasted too !
We buy bread from the Great America Bread Company and its so yummy!! beats me doing it on a Sunday !! LOL

Have you tried using chorizo (mexican sausage) in your chilli? It is really good.
