Mine was made from filters for straining raw milk, I think. The "milk pads" were white and the yarn was purple. I thought she was beautiful!

My mom had one that my grandmother made of milk strainer pads. We had a dairy when I was little. Mom still has the doll but the dress is long gone.

Oh my goodness i forgot all about those. I was a farmer's daughter and remember sneaking to the barn and "stealing" the milk filters. I can't remember how the dolls even looked, but remember trying to make them. Hope you kind them and can post a pic.

OK for the first time in ages I feel really young. LOL. I am 54 and never even heard of those dolls. Of course, raised in the city. I remember crocheted ones. I'd like to see a picture if ya'll ever find it. GOod luck.

I didn't go in and look at the things that are linked too, but seems this might be them.
