found out today they are discontinuing to make my husband's favorite chips they are only made in this area of northern Ohio so anytime a relative came back they stocked up and took them home. The company says they are no longer cost efficient to make. The company has made them for over 30 years and then was bought by another company now they are no longer

The same thing happened years ago to my family's favorite chips... They bought cases of them before they were discontinued... and doled them out sparingly :D:D:D

Happens to us also. When Healthy Choice first came out with their frozen entrees they had fish. It was so good. Just when you find something good, they discontinue the line. Oh well!

I thought that only happened to me when I finally would find something my daughter liked. Whether it was food or clothes!

That's the story of my life. Whenever I like something, it gets discontinued.

That always happens to me too!

This is a big joke in our family. If a food comes in several "flavors", the one we like the best is always the one that is discontinued first. Now when DH and I both like a particular "item" of food, we fill the pantry with it.....just in case!

potato chips were invented in a restaurant on the shores of Lake Loughberry, the reservoir for Saratoga NY. A man was complaining that his fried potatoes had been cut too thick. So the chef sliced them paper-thin and exclaimed - I hope these are thin enough for him!!! true story - my grandmother was Saratoga county historian.
