Dish detergent...
Just wanted to throw this one out there today to everyone as to what brand you use.
For a number of years now, I've been using Dawn (orange), and most recently switched to Dawn 2X, but the other day while out shopping they didn't have any Dawn, so I settled on Palmolive (orange), and wow, what a pleasant switch! Smells wonderful! Nicer than the Dawn (by far). |
I use green Palmolive dish soap. Why? Because I have a glass bottle with a split pour top that I put it in and the pretty green colour matches my kitchen.:D
I use blue Dawn. I think it cleans better than anything else out there.
Blue Dawn.
I use the blue foaming one. I think it's Dawn. I like the foam as it rinses off so nicely.
Foaming dawn. Good for other things too.
since i found Dawn, i'll never switch, it does such a great job. i stick with the blue
I use the blue Dawn because I can use it for a lot of things besides dishes, which I mostly avoid doing lol. Thank God for my dishwasher!
I use the blue Dawn. It works the best for everything I found.
For years and years I used green Palmolive and loved it. Then when I was completely out and had to buy, the store did not have my Palmolive so I bought blue Dawn. Never went back to Palmolive. ( Love how the Dawn gets my t-shirts stain free)
Blue Dawn
And I use the clear Palmolive in my carpet cleaning kit, the carpet installer recommend I keep around. There is also clear ammonia, vinegar, a small bottle of nail polish remover and some clean rags (cut up old t-shirts) in the bucket. |
I have a small size bottle of DAWN for spot removal near my washing machine
blue Dawn here, too. I should buy stock in that stuff. :)
Blue Dawn here too!
We use it as dog shampoo also. Our dog fell in the pond at 10:00 one night. YUK! DH uses it to scrub his boat too. |
Always have blue Dawn in the house, but will also buy other brands from time to time.
Blue dawn love that stuff
Blue Dawn.
Blue Dawn here, too.
Years ago I used Palmolive green When blue Dawn became available here I switched and would never go back.
I really like the 3X Platinum Dawn which will clean up really stuck on food from cooking pots if allowed to sit and soak for awhile. Best stuff ever! Blue Dawn also works better than Colour Catchers to take out dye runoffs when working with fabric.
Blue dawn here, also, for many years. One thing I discovered is that all blue dawn is not created equal. I noticed that the cleaning action of the soap disappeared before I finished the dishes and it was not cutting the grease and it was a thinner consistency in the bottle. Enter dawn ultra; it cuts the grease, last thru out the cleaning, and is thicker.
I buy the big container at Costco- forgot the name of it but I like it. I always have a bottle of Blue Dawn though. That stuff works all over the house! Love it.
I thought I heard years ago that the original blue dawn was drying to your hands. Is that not true anymore? I use the dawn ultra with hand renewal by Olay. I do keep the straight blue on hand for tough jobs.
I used to use the green Palmolive, but switched to blue Dawn years ago, will never go back. The Palmolive is cheaper, but it's so much more watery you have to use twice as much of it. I also think Dawn does a better job and has so many other applications around the house. Never used it on T shirt---gonna have to try that. TY!
I use blue Dawn for a lot of things, but for dishes I use whatever smell strikes my fancy. I feel like I deserve a pleasant scent while I'm doing the dishes.
Blue Dawn at my house too.
I use very little - thank you, dishwasher, but I have Dawn with moisturizer in it. Why? The pretty light coral color, of course. I do have a bottle of the blue 2X under the sink but I don't need anything that strong. A daughter left here at Christmas.
Blue Dawn, because it's the only soap I've found that doesn't irritate my fingers under my rings. Tone bar soap is the only other soap my skin tolerates.
I even use the blue Dawn for handwashing quilts in the bathtub. I line the tub with a sheet, place the quilt on it, then fill the tub with warm water. I add the blue Dawn and "swish" everything around until I think the quilt has been cleaned enough. I drain the tub and repeat the "swishing" process several times with clean water and squeeze out as much water as I can by rolling the quilt inside the sheet. I let quilt air dry on the back porch at my daughter's house. I like the fresh smell, and it's much easier on the quilt than agitating it in the washing machine.
Blue Dawn.
Blue dawn , have tried a few others and always come back
I always use Ivory as for me anything else is hard on my hands.
For many years I used nothing but Ivory dish soap. Thought I would never change. But.....about 8 months ago I switched o Dawn and I really like how it cleans.
I use blue dawn ...
Dawn original. I buy it in the large refill jug. One jug lasts about a year. I use the dishwasher once a day.
Blue Dawn. My mother, at 89 years young, sometimes gets food stains on her clothing. Blue Dawn to the rescue...so far it has worked every time to remove the stains.
I love my Blue Dawn, it works better than anything else.
Dawn original blue. So many uses.
Who wishes they had stock in Dawn??? :D
Dish Detergent
If you put the hot soapy water and a fabric softener in your burnt on what-evers, it will loosen fast. I, too, use Blue Dawn and so does my son in his window washing business.
