Ha Ha Ha, this made me laugh! It sounds like something I would do, only I would light a fire in front of the hairspray and make a torch, ha ha! I HATE Wolf Spiders! I threw my arm out once hitting one with a rolled up magazine. It was more adrenaline than anything else but the darn thing wouldn't die. I am wondering if you killed it with hairspray or just stiffened it up so it couldn't move! :) :) I needed this chuckle this morning!

Very interesting topic. I have had hostas lining my driveway for years. This year the leaves are turning brown and crunchy. It almost looks like they need water, but I really don't think so. Maybe I will try spraying them with detergent.

cindyb usually when hosta leaves get brown they are getting too much sun. If you spray them with detergent, male sure it's watered down. Watering them well may help.

I just realized that this worked. The other day I was in my room and noticed a lot of ants on the table next to me. I had a can of Lysol on my night stand. I didn't think any more about it until now. I haven't seen ants for a few days. for the kitchen and most areas, I just either spray or wipe down with vinegar or vinegar and water and they're gone.
