Hi ,my husband was taken away by the state along with his siblings. They were put in foster care then adopted except for my husband who went to Milton Hershey (the candy hershey) home for boys. When my husband was in his late 50's he found a sister no one knew about and her birth certificate showed that there were three more childern born to his mother maybe more.To this day he does not know their sex or where they are.Pa.laws does not allow you to open adoption records.I know he always thinks about those sibblings. He managed to remember where his present sibblings lived and got them all together. The only way he will find them is if their given their real birth certificates and searching for their family.Thats how they found his sister. For all of those in that have similar happenings I hope fate intervenes and you find the lost relatives.

So happy for you and your family.

It has ALWAYS been my dream to find my older sister. She was taken away from my mother at birth and put up for adoption.

My search has NOT been very forthcoming due to many road
blocks and such.

Congratulations. I don't mean to be a wet blanket or anything, but not all reunions are the perfection the media would like us to believe. Sometimes families have a difficult time adjusting. I hope yours is successful.
