PrettyKitty, do you know the result of that court case mentioned in the guardian? Interesting articles, thanks.

MadQuilter you have me LOL with tears.

One day I heard a noise out back and went, opened the door to see what it was. I didn't see anything so I shut the door and went back to the bedroom. About an hour later my DH came upstairs and asked me if I had seen the cat.
He started looking and keep hearing a noise in the kitchen. When he got there he saw something at the door. When he opened it up there was the cat hanging onto the screen door.
She had followed me to the kitchen and somehow got between the doors when I slammed it closed. He said she looked so pitiful just hanging there on the screen and looking through the glass door.
Cats are suppose to have 9 lives and she lost one that day.

Unfortunately, I thought it was fun to teach my male, Koko, to speak, wave hi, beg and roll over. Now he is a danger in the kitchen, with his constant rolling over right when I want to walk where he is. Even the other one, shy Frederica, has picked up the "hi" wave and begging and speaking. I did it because one man who irritated me declared that cats were too stupid to learn like dogs!!!
And yes, they do get their treats pretty much when they want them, not that they are spoiled, not my cats!!
