I can't say that I have anything purple in my house, but I do have a friend that has purple everything, and I mean everything. As far as she is concerned there is no other color.

I love purple and have used it- in small doses in my homes. I had a beautiful wisteria wallpaper in my kitchen in my house in Florida, did my guest bath with an iris shower curtain and purple towels. I did not use purple on walls,furniture or any large areas. Went to sell the house and guess what- the lady who bought it was a purple addict! She painted the entire interior purple! I saw it and wanted to cry. As much as I love purple, it is not a color to go overboard with! Now I live in the mountains in a much more rustic setting. There are still purple items here and there, but I keep it very small. For example, my dining room area rug is black with fall leaves on it. A few are purple! So, my advice is to use purple, but confine it to small areas. (except for my first quilt I finished a few months ago- purple and green and covering the wall above my bed!)

My sewing room is dark purple on one wall and the other three are yellow. Love it.

Yes. I have lots of purple towels and sheets, etc. I love purple and fushcia.

Ironically, my daughter, sister-in-law,best friend and boss are "purple" fanatics and each have purple rooms.

You bet I do. The master bedroom suite is purple--carpet, wallpaper, bedspread, towels, etc. Every room in my house has purple in it. Kitchen has purple counter top with a Kitchen Aid top of the line mixer (in purple). All of my dishes and utensils are purple. The front door is purple and I drive a purple car. Even those rooms not decorated in all purple have a least a few purple things show. Yes, I'm a purple queen..love it...

I have a lilac bedroom and two large shadow boxes in royal purple on my family room walls. The walls made any picture look to small so hubby made me two shadow boxes and I painted them purple. funny my favorite color is blue!

Yes! my whole bathroom is a dark purple with white accents.
