Do you have a personal album on this Board?

I found a place where I can post photos of my personal quilts in an album under My Profile and have created an collection of some of my quilts. Do YOU have one? I'd love to view it!

Click on MY PROFILE at the very top of any page on the Board.
Scroll down until you find a place to CREATE an album.
You can open your computer PICTURES file and copy from there.

Mine is at http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...bums19552.html

Yes, I have 2 albums but not much in them, and there are a few more photos to go in, I've just been very slack lately. I wish more quilters would save their photos in albums here.

I have several pages of albums... I'm surprised that more QBers don't use this feature. It's great to see what everyone has done, all in one place.

You have a lovely gallery of work, Jan.

Yes http://www.quiltingboard.com/members...ne-u72605.html I also post my albums to Facebook and Pinterest. I am far away from most family so it's to let them know what I am up to.

I posted a reply but instead of a smiley face thanking you for the inspiring post , I see question marks at the end of my sentence , which might unintentionally think I was being sarcastic .

Hello my long lost friend. Sorry I haven't written, but will this week. I love #3 from your album!!! And of course it happens to be purple, and you know me and purple. I hope this note finds you well. Until later, Ellie

Why, thank you! Not too many masterpieces there but I had a good time making each one.

Hey, Ellie!
That purple quilt stayed a UFO for well over a decade. It was done in a class at Houston's International Quilt Festival in the early/mid nineties with a friend who was a fairly new quilter. The class was very poorly taught so we sat in the back of the room where I showed her how to make it an easier way than it was taught! (We were so naughty! We made only a few blocks and designed our own layout.) But, I quickly saw this as a perfect example of Mary Ellen Hopkins' "connector" techniques, which she had taught me in a week long seminar in Las Vegas. (Yeah, I really did once go to Las Vegas and spend the WHOLE time in a hotel sewing!! :D)

I now teach these techniques using the connector in workshops for my guild and other locations and have made a pattern for it. This quilt, partially made by my friend, is a class sample. Glad you liked it.

Yay!! Thanks for sharing!

P.S. When you are ready to write a post or response, if you look at the bar right above the message (about one inch above where you type your message) you will notice a small yellow smiley face among other icons and Font selections. If you click on that yellow smiley icon a window with a selection of smiley-type icons appears for your selection to insert into your message --- like this :D!

(It might be easier if you enlarge the page's print by holding down the Ctrl key and using the little wheel in the middle of your mouse to enlarge or diminish the size of the print. Or you can also use Ctrl key and the + or - sign key.)
