If you do, please check out my blog - I have a Recipe of the Month tab and this months' feature recipe is the Best Banana Bread Ever!!

I'm pretty new to blogging, but everyone on this board is so nice, friendly and helpful, I figured you would be a good audience (and you need to eat to keep your strength up for quilting!!) So go check it out and let me know what you think about the recipe. (and my blog too, but be gentle....I said I was new to blogging...*sniff*

Your recipe comes at a great time as bananas have been plentiful and very inexpensive lately. I can make a few breads late at night when the kitchen is cooler.

Will try it!

Sounds good, kind of similar to the one I use but instead of milk you use 8 oz of cream cheese makes it very moist.

Yes, I love banana bread! My grandmother used to make it all the time, then my mother.

love banana bread....One hint somebody told me 30 years ago--use frozen bananas, yes frozen .I always have some in the freezer.
put them in freezer just before overripe. The peeling will get black but the inside will be yellow and totally mushy, when you get ready to use them.
