I do those all the time for our church Craft Sale, but do not add strip on bottom, love that idea. I will try doing that to mine, thanks for another idea. Yours are all beautiful, love your colors.

I have just found some instructions I put together quite some years back for some kitchen projects. I have put them into a PDF so you are welcome to use them. There is a pattern for the towel top, but I am not sure on the sizing once it is printed. I have put some measurements on it so I am sure you could work it out from the printed version. There is also directions for potholders and a plastic bag keeper as well as some pictures of long ago projects. These were made approximately 12 years ago

I like been them nice job. I make them but I have been lazy I get them at the dollar store, embroidery on the bottom
or middle with my machine. Yours are great, I need to think about the top of yours instead of just holding them on my cabinet handle. Great job love them

As in my previous comment, yesterday I started making kitchen towels to use up some fabric and a pack of towels purchased about 8 years ago. I'm using Christmas prints and one I found of kitchen spices cans (Watkins...Durkee), so far so good. Thinking I'll keep these back for presents for the husbands grown nieces for next year. Thanks again for posting.

Linda, I have added my top pattern and instructions in PDF format to this post.
