How much Sublingual B-12 should a person take daily? I have read so many different things about it.

I take one dropperful daily. That's what the directions say on my bottle. I use Sundown vitamin's Sublingual B12

I don't take it. What is it good for. Maybe I should be taking it.

The thing is, the B vitamins need to be in balance with each other, so taking a lot more B12 won't give you more benefit. Besides, the B vitamins are water soluble, meaning you will piss out the amount you don't use.

So I would say take the amount recommended by your doctor, if you're doing this at the doctor's suggestion. If not, take the most conservative amount listed on the package directions and increase or decrease the dose to adjust it for your body's needs.

Yeah....I don't take it regularly....but when I went on a mission trip..my Doc suggested I take it for mosquito repellant. HE told me to take as much as I could handle..my urine would turn brown..but no mosquitos would get me.

Is he vegetarian?

My dad has to take two shots per months because of the lack of the intrinsic value that has to be present to properly absorb B12. Otherwise he shows to anemic.....not from the lack of iron but the lack of B12

I take the Sublingual B Complex with B12 because I take Prilosec on a daily basis and it has been shown that people who take that type of medication can be low on B12.

Anyone thinking of taking this supplement should talk to their doctor about it though.
