It's been hard. I have joint problems too. Arthritis in hips, knees, elbows and shoulders. It's been 3 weeks and I leave feeling Like I'm 95 yrs old.lol! It takes me about 3-4 days to recooperate from all the aches and pains. Then I start all over again. DH chuckles when we(DD and me) walk in the door. DD is pushing me up the stairs!lol !! It can only get better as each week passes right?

DH asks "Do you want to quit yet? Have you had enough?
And my reply is " NO! " I'm have fun! lol!

Haven't had any alcohol yet either! DD wants me to drink and get crazy! I'm crazy already lol! No alcohol needed! My score has been improving too. Up to a 142 average! So I'm going to keep this up.

Just got done bowling tonight. Not as good as I once was but that's why you have handicap. I have been bowling for over 39 years. Broke my ankle on my slide leg...took quite a while to rebuild my confidence. Not bowling....I fell down some steps.

The best thing about bowling is the friendship. I bowl at a 12 lane house and many on the league have been there for years. I found out while I was laid up with my ankle, it was my bowling family that was always sending cards, calling or stopping by.

Same here, and the hands and wrist. Growing older isn't for wimps!

Bowl-ed my brains out on several leagues as a "youngster". Now the WII and I are GREAT bowling/tennis friends.....

Bowling anyone? I quilt and bowl. Those are my things outside of work and raising a family. Heading to Reno this weekend for a "fun tournament". I won the whole thing 2 years ago and bowled poorly last year. Wish me luck.

I love to bowl, however, can barely stand but I give it a good effort when I go. Usually can barely make it through one game so a league is out, but it is so much fun! I pretend the pins are something (or someone) I really dislike - currently politicians! HA! I really think it helps improve my aim!

Many years ago my mother and I bowled on a duck pin league with a friend of mine and her mother. Great memories, lots of laughs.

Haven't been in years. My dear departed Auntie bowled on 2 leagues and one usually went to National Finals. She was really good!
