Where i can buy or get long pineneedles, approx 8"-12" long. I cant find a source here on long island ny thanks

May I ask what you are doing with them? Are you talking like trees needles?

Sew1 yes, off the southern pines. My grandma used to make baskets.

Come for a visit and take home all you want. LOL I decorate with the pinecones from these trees as they are at least 8" tall, there from a ponderosa pine tree.

I have a wonderful tall Pine tree in my back yard. How much are you needing and what are you making I have picked up some in the past and have a small box in the pantry that you are welcome to and I would be willing to get more for you. Just let me know what your requirements are.

A native elder I know makes beautiful baskets. She recommends picking them as soon as the fall from the tree. Here in western part of the continent you should be able to find these.
