I have one....bought it to combat pet hair. I am NOT impressed. The small shop vac does a better job of getting hair off the furniture. Between unclogging it from human hair (5 of us with long hair here) and the dog hair it just a pain to use.

Have had my Dyson for 2 years and just love it. Very good for pet hair.

I have the yellow ball and I love mine! I have two cats and am still in awe at the amount of fur it pulls out of the carpet! Who knew cats had that much fur! My husband ordered it online from Kohls and between the online discount and coupons he had it was almost 50% less. Great Deal! I totally recommend it!

I love my Dyson, too. Even though I have only one cat, I seem to get a lot of hair. Works great! Very easy on my back to push around. I also have hardwood floors, and it works very well on them.

Love my Dyson.I have 3 dogs, and that is the main reason I bought one. I really cleans up dog hair.

Another one who loves it! Especially when DH is using it :-)
Both DH and the Dyson do a great job! |
Don't have a Dyson---yet! I have a Rainbow that does an awesome job but would like to try the Dyson.

We specifically got "the Animal" for pet hair. I love my Dyson! Best vacuum ever!

LOVE my dyson and I have lots of critters in a small space including a long haired cat and two pigs. For those who don't know, pigs have coarse, stiff hair that will get into your carpet and jab your bare feet like pins  and my dyson gets them up. I can also disengage the brush bar and use it on hard floors which is very important since you can't even imagine the dirt that gets tracked into my house. Dysons are worth every penny IMHO.
