Oh, good luck to you, Jennifer! We'll probably all read your book if you let us know when it's published.

I only rarely read Harlequins. They've gotten better over the years, but much of the writing, especially of the love scenes, is so awkward it makes me cringe.

Hope your ambition comes true!!

When there are things in them I don't like I skip over that part and don't read it. I'm not crazy about the trend to describe the intimate things in such detail. But I like the mysteries and the story lines usually. I love the ones that have children and family situations involved.

Would love to have one I know the author!! LOL

I've got one of my novels at the "full manuscript" stage!! Took a few tries.. but I'm keeping at writing. :D

Trust me, the second I sell a book, this board is going to be the first group of people to know!

When do you all have time to quilt??

Jennifer22206 05-09-2011 06:27 PM

hehe. :) I quilt when I'm stuck on an idea.

Rhonda - I'll gladly have you be a critique partner if you'd like! I'm currently working on two different stories, one isn't going as good as I'd hoped, so I started the other.

Jennifer I'd be thrilled! My grandma got me started on them when I was 12. I used to stay up til 3am reading them at her house. I still stay up reading them before I go to bed everynight.
they are a great way to get away from my real circumstances.
