A metal rolling cart from the fifties. My husband, Keith, found this at an antique store. It was rusted and dirty. He cleaned it up and sanded it the best he could. He didn't have enough spray paint on hand to paint it all one color, so he used what he had. Said he would get more paint and do it one color. I told him that I really like it in tri-color. It is so handy. I can wheel it around to my machine and have all of my quilt parts and stuff close to me.

I remember those, some were even electrical. You could plug them in and they had a strip with several outlets on it so that you could plug in a toaster, coffee maker, iron, crock pot, etc. but 4 -6 things at once.

I adore that retro stuff! Remember the huge kitchen sinks, they were so cool!

Ok, don't laugh but the hospital that I work at still has one just like it in use. I could see that been well used in a sewing room.

Wow! They need to bring these back. The plastic ones we have today just don't work as well. Lucky you!

When I first started sewing, I grabbed an old typewriter cart from the basement and used it. Anyone remember those? Anyone remember typewriters?! _:-)_

I still have an IBM Selectric sitting in the closet. Can't quite bring myself to get rid of it.
