I crochet but not dishcloths. Do you use regular yarn and just make squares? I have tons (at least 1 tote) of pieces of yarn.

My daughter used 100% Cotton yarn and yes just make squares to the size you like

I have never made them before but I love them. I need to try that.

I like crocheted potholders myself. My DH is very firm that only cotton yarn should be used for potholders and such, because synthetics melt at a low enough temperature to pose a hazard to the potholder user.

Cotton yarn is the secret.
