I took these pictures of my dogs. They were out here in my sewing room. Sitting on the shelf in front of the 2 windows. That faces the street. May be some partial prints of the plants hanging in my sewing room also#1 is chico--#2 is coacoa- a rat terrier-also a licker, licker kisser, etc, etc.--#3 is minnie. My pride and joy. They all go with me 98% of the time. They dont know what it is to stay home. Take care everyone. Some of my plants, and plant hangers I made, and of course Minnie.. Chico & minnie are chichuahua's.This is chico chico-coacoa-minnie.. Chico is resting on minnie. He must of gotten tired being a guard dog, that day. Everyone take care, and WELCOME to the new members. Don-isewman

So adorable. Dogs are great company. Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad you are so well protected!
They are soooooooo cute. I love the last picture, they look like best friends.
ahh so ferocious. from what you were saying one would get licked to death, LOL. they are a cute group. sounds like they have their human trained well.
I looked at your fur babies and almost thought they were mine! I have a rat terrior(yes, that's spelled right. LOL), a chiweenie named Timmy(that weighs 15 lbs) and babysitting my son's dog, Chiquita, the chachuchua. Chewie, the rat terrior, is the youngest of the bunch. How ever, unlike your dogs, if Timmy doesn't know you, he will bite. He goes for the seat of the pants and that throws people off, because they expect him to go for the ankles. LOL Don't you just love them to peices? LOL

I have a weenie dog. She HATES the sewing room because she can't sit beside me in my office chair, so she waits until I start sewing and tells me she needs to go out. Then she makes a run for my easy chair to see if she can coax me to come and sit with her. SPOILED! I don't know what I would do without her! She has her own quilt.
I too, have a "lick you to death" golden retriever & a sheltie (see avatar) that thinks she is our guard dog. Out of her element she is a totally different dog. They are the loves of our lives, next to our grandchildren, of course !!

TOO Cute......
What a great picture of your guard dogs.
They are so cute!!!!!
Don, I love the pics of your guard dogs.!!! Mine is about the same....she gets awfully tired doing her job. Tink is stationed in her favorite guard position right now....onthe back of the sofa...so she can look out the window anytime she can open her eyes.
Tinkerbelle is also a Chihuahua...such lovers! |
Looks almost like they are telling you it's too safe and quiet around your house, there's nothing to do for them! Better go out somewhere.:D

My guard dogs

Here are our guard dogs. The black and tan is full grown miniature long haired -smooth haired coated dachshund. His name is Gunner's Coal. He loves his Mama. The other one is a full long haired piebald-dapple miniature dachshund female . Her name is Sugarfoot and she loves her poppa. They tolerate me and run to me for protection when grandson is home. The areas in Sugarfoots coat are not dirty, that is her dappled coat. The dapples are silvery gray and look dirty in low light.

I was sure that middle pup was a RT. We breed them and have far to many, but I know them anywhere and love them to peices and generly have 6-12 under foot.

So, Don, are you saying Coacoa can't hold her liquor?? :D (tee hee -- just couldn't resist!) They sure look like a happy trio. Thanks for posting the nice photos of your furry staff members and great looking plants. |
