You got that one right Ditter. What a shocking ending, and I was prepared to NOT shed a tear. Didn't happen.

Oh my gosh!!! I still have not only a tear but goose bumps! I have heard a lot of stories like this where the dog waits and waits for his master. Love this one that the dog "recognizes" his master when "she" is leaving the hospital!

Oh my goodness! I have a friend who recently received a liver transplant so this hit me like a bolt of lightning! Wow!

Thanks for posting this. Our 17 year old granddaughter received 2 new lungs last November. I hadn't thought much about being an organ donor until we sat through her 10 hour surgery and experienced the overwhelming joy we felt when she took her first breaths with her new lungs, and realized she has a whole new life now. She would not have lived another year. I ask God every day to bless all the people who were organ donors and gave the gift of life so someone they never knew.
