Downton Abbey season 5 anyone?
I was wondering if anyone has a link to watch the newest season of Downton Abbey online for free? Last season I was able to watch the whole season 4 online for free before it ever showed here in the States. I am hoping someone can help me out with a link. Thank you in advance!!

This is my favorite program on PBS. Can't wait to see season 5.
It will be in the states in January. I HOPE that people who see it before hand keeps the tongues from wagging and posting items that will spoil it for the rest of us who are also loyal fans of the show.

Waiting for January to see it here in the U.S. Why must we wait to long?!?!?
I can't wait for season 5 to start! I won't be able to buy the DVD until the end of January. Would you please share the link where you watch it?
Wonder how many more seasons that he will be willing to write before he decides that he has written enough. I read something that said he didn't intend for this to be a long series and was surprised at how popular it is. Come on season 5!!!

I love Downton Abbey and Selfridge. I can hardly wait for them both to come back. Don't they usually have the Downton Abbey episodes on the PBS website after they air?
here in Colorado they show them on channel 6 PBS then again on channel 12 PBS. I did watch a few on that link though.
Season 5 hasn't aired in the UK yet, so you won't be able to see it anywhere, even online.
Yep, we are waiting so patiently!!
I see with a donation to PBS you can get each episode sent to you. I'm going to wait until I can buy it all on DVD. Then I can watch it when I want! Love this series.
Love 'em both.

I watched last season in September on Jetflicks which is a paid service for mobile devices. So by the time my friends saw it in January, I already knew what happened. But I would never spoil it for anyone else because I would hate it if someone did that to me. It was from ITV and i'm not sure what network that is or where that's from.

I am watched Season 5's firs episode today on YOU TUBE. I put in search "Downton Abbey season 5 episode 1". A few choices came up for it and two were not good and the third was PERFECT.
My niece was in England and just watched the first episode there -- she did not share any details. I see now that Season 5 can be pre-ordered on PBS. I don't have charge of the remote so that is the best way for me to watch! Season 5 is supposed to have quilts on the beds made from the Downton Abbey fabric. If you go to Andover Fabric you will find directions for a bunch of quilts made from that fabric. I've downloaded all the patterns already!
I have my own tv watching area with a remote all my own. I don't compromise when I have time to watch a little tv. I want to watch what I want with no interruptions or chit chat. TV together time can be when sports is on as I have no interest in sports so can sew when I'm saddled watching one.
I bought a yard of each fabric in the Downton fabric. I don't know which pattern I'll use yet. |
I will have to watch the first episode of season five again and see if I notice any quilts. I did see a beautiful counted cross stitch hung on a wall in one scene. As I stated earlier you CAN see season five's first episode on YOU TUBE. I watched it yesterday on my Ipad and it was a very good episode!!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for suggesting You Tube for watching season five. I just got my Abbey fix and now can't wait until the next episode. I've ordered the DVD, but of course it doesn't arrive until the end of January. I have watched all of the previous episodes so many times that it seems like I could play all the parts. Thanks again. |
Your welcome. I will watch the new season on You Tube then also watch it again when it's on here in January.
