I love this show but if it is going to become a soap opera then I am out. There is enough sorrow in life, do we have to see it over and over on tv also.

I did not like the ending. However, he appears dead but blood is flowing out. If that is the case, I think he is still alive. I have heard that blood stops flowing when the heart stops. Don't know how true that is in all cases. And of course, we don't know how technically accurate the writers are with Downton Abbey either. We will find out at the end of the year when the next seasons starts unless someone in England spills the answer since they see it before we do.

Several of my friends who are even more avid followers than me said they won't watch again because they were so angry with the season end. I was quite shocked myself. Have to admit that half the appeal for me is the gorgeous clothing and Granny's wonderful comments.

I have the series recorded. I have been to busy to watch it. But my mom called and said hurry and watch it and sorta of told me the ending...errrrrr. oh well i love the show so will watch it anyway
