I have a dental appt. at 12:00 and it's 11:34 and I'm still at home posting this. Can you tell I'm really dragging my feet to leave? I get a new bridge today and I'm not looking forward to having it installed. The dentist is about 5 min. from the house so I guess I'll be there on time.

DH just told me to think of it as Christmas in my mouth. Dental is so expensive these days!

I am right there with you. Why do I put it off so long? My appt is next Monday but I am 10 mins away!

I hope your dentist is like mine. I got a new bridge several weeks ago and it is so comfotable and fits very well. I have had umpteen appointments to make impressions, fittings and then to make sure it fits well. I had my last one this a.m. and the bridge fits so well I don't even know it's there.

He is a great dentist.

I'm so excited, I get my new bridges on the 22nd. :-D :-D :-D :-D
They are replacements for the ones I got in 1979.

It took about 15 minutes and the bridge is perfect. Over and done with until another problem pops up. The cost for mine was $2,600 submitted to insurance. Is that about the norm? I don't think I want to go for second opinions for dental work. LOL. My dentist is very good and I think charges the normal price.

Mine was about $900.00 Canadian - not covered by insurance :(
