Feeling so sad for my granddaughter today when her exam results came through the post and were not nearly as good as she expected. She's 17, great with horses but not a happy girl today. You just want to make everything right for your children and their children but sometimes you just can't.

No somethimes we can't, we just have to show are love and support

Oh I'm so sorry for her. Mother of 3 boys understands exactly how you feel. You are not happy either. Sent up a quick prayer for your grandaughter.

What were the exams for? Can she take them again?

at least the results show where she needs to study more.

Thank you. Prayers do help.

They were exams before her last year at High School which determine what choices she can make for the future. She had studied hard for them which I think makes it all the more disappointing for her. I think it's a hard time for all young people in this country at the moment with few jobs at all levels and many people chasing them. Thank you for asking.

Try looking at this way - it's a learning experience for going thru life. There are some things we have to learn the hard way. However, I know exactly what you mean as I felt the same way exactly

Yes, you're right. It helps to share things with others who can remind you of the wider picture.

Believe.Trust. Our Great Creator has a different future for her than what she was pursuiting. Every time a door closes on us, a different one is opened. We are loved; she is loved; you are loved. She has been blessed with special talent.

Any one can smile in the sunshine...when it rains in our life we are given the chance to grow....stronger and better. We cannot see pass the next bend in the road. Hope springs eternally. Focus on the positive. This is what I believe and have raised our children on and we have lived our life believing and seeing promises kept. You are special and she is very special and so loved. It is called "life" and not all roses; each must find their own path.
