Drug Store Question

I'm going to Australia in the fall, as many of you know! :D Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any chain drug stores, pharmacies, or what ever they may be called in Australia. I'm thinking along the lines of Walgreens and CVS. I will be in the Robina, Gold Coast, Queensland area, if that helps. I'm just trying to figure out what exactly I can leave at home and what I can get there. I've already found a face soap that I'm going to try, I just want to know where I can get my personal effects and what not. Thanks for the help!

Hi...there are lots of chemists (that's what we usually call them here) in the Gold Coast area, and there is a big shopping centre at Robina with more than one chemist so you should be able to get whatever you need here. Of course, I'm not sure if we will carry the same brands as what you are used to using. But, soaps, deoderants, toothpaste, moisturisers, makeup, personal items etc will all be available. Supermarkets also carry a lot of the same lines that chemists do. If there is something in particular you are worried about being able to get here, just ask and we will see if we can help.
Hope you have a wonderful time here :)

After I had asked, I went searching and found that everything that I use is sold at Woolworths and a few other locations. Woolworths is with in walking distance of my school, which is fantastic. I'm just trying to make it so I have less stuff to pack. Thank you!!!!!

Oh good....glad you found you can get the things you want here. Nice that it's in walking distance too :)

That's what I said! I know I'll have to pay a lot, but it's worth not having an allergic reaction.
